Gas prognosis:
The waste from this plant is estimated to be 235 000 tons. Normally,
a ton of waste gives 5-10 m3 of gas/year. The test pumping showed
a relatively high production of gas in the waste disposal site, the
quantity of gas reached 10 m3/ton and year with an energy value of
6kWh/m3 of gas. The result of the test pumping was the basis of the
dimensioning of the plant. In total, energy recovery per year reaches
14 300 MWh or 270 m3 gas/h with an output of 1.6 MW.

Gas pumping station:
This station is constructed in a container, with standard dimensions.
The construction was carried out at our workshop and the whole plant
was test-run prior to delivery. The two most important parts are the
two blowing machine type compressors which extract gas by sucking
in from the waste disposal site and then press the gas on to a consumer,
which can be a motor or a boiler.
The smoke pipes in the plant are completely acid-proof stainless
steel. All the components such as piping, valves, measurement instruments
and the plant as a whole are approved by Swedish and Norwegian authorities.
The first compressor is dimensioned for 300Nm3 gas/hour. The space
and connections are prepared for more compressors of the same type.
The station is completely automatic. Should a serious functional fault
occur, such as gas leakage, etc. the plant is shut down and the alarm
signal is activated. In the case of less serious faults, only the
alarm signal is activated.
