About LKN

Since its formation, 1985, LKN Industry Automation AB has built different types of production equipment for the Swedish engineering industry.

LKN works primarily with the motor industry and its contractors. In line with the changes within the industry where solutions requiring greater flexibility and less resources for manufacturing became all the more important, LKN decided to go the whole way to being full service provider of cost effective and flexible automation.

LKN formed a new company group - LKN Group - by acquiring SCS Målningssystem (now SCS Finishing) in 1997 and signing a collaborative agreement with the French company, PCI. At the end of 1999, a company with a strong profile, LNV Energy, was acquired giving the group further strength in the form of technical expertise and market-leading products. With these combined resources, it was natural to form a team for technical development. LKN Group's technical development group works with innovations, research and development within techniques applicable to the group's different areas.
